What do gerbils like the most, treat and toywise? I've tried some treats, but he doesn't seem to like them.
Sawdust or woodshavings? I'm currently using woodshavings. I am NOT interested in using Carefresh/paper based bedding.
How to encourage them to use the wheel and dust/sand bath? He doesn't seem to understand the dust bath or wheel. Not too fussed

Hi, i was at my friends house the other day and he has 4 gerbils. On of the gerbil bit him really hard, so he flicked his finger at him, and a couple of minutes later he was jumping and blood came out of his mouth. could he die like that
